*Pin Grading Guide*
All of the enamel pins I offer are filled and polished by hand. No pin will be 100% perfect.
Standard/A Grade: Near "perfect pin". May have very minor scuffs/imperfections that are not immediately visible unless angled a certain way. Flaws on the side/back of the pin may be present, but is not visible from the front view. (overflow of enamel fill.).
B+ Grade: Would be considered as standard grade but has wrong enamel fill colour in small areas. (Blathers' checkered pattern is pale yellow and white, rather than light brown and white)
B Grade: Close to being a standard grade pin and are great for everyday wear. They have minor imperfections such as, but not limited to: low enamel fill, slight enamel discolouration, dust, scuffs, mixed enamel, tiny bubble(s) in the enamel and/or dents, missing filling in very small areas, wrong enamel fill in small areas
C Grade: Best option for those who are on a budget. Has noticeable flaws. Low enamel fill in large areas, dents, embedded dust, overfilled enamel, bubbles in the enamel, scratches in the plating, tarnished plating, broken pin post, and/or chipped filling, wrong enamel fill in small areas.
D Grade: Very noticeable defects. Has any combination of the following: Missing enamel fill in large areas, large areas of chipped filling, dents in the enamel, embedded dust, overfilled enamel, scratches in the plating, tarnished plating, broken post and wrong enamel fill in large areas.
